help me fix my voltage drop

I would be careful this sounds like a dangerous problem to have. I would not run my amps if the voltage is dropping to 8 volts....hell not even 10 volts

when i bought my first HO alt, it worked good for a minute then the regulator went out. i didnt suspect that was the prob, but after testing everything else realized that was the prob, got a bew one and all was fine...
your problem is very easy to diagnose... somewhere in your electrical setup and wiring, you have done something wrong or you are having equipment failure at the batt or alt level. Plain and simple, unless you have some crazy issue such as exposed wires grounding out a bit or dumping part of your voltage to part of your car.
so if i find a place that can test an alt they will be able to test the regulator as well?

unless its a bad crimp and a cold solder then nothing is wrong with the wiring. every terminal is crimped and soldered. however i didnt have enough heat so a cold solder is possible. but a crimp on top of that should be fine.

batteries are fine, listed resting voltage already.

hye jason lmk if you need a batt or any type of wire or cable i get stuff cheap at work
thanks man but i think im set. ill let you know if i need wire
