Help me find a gaming pc motherboard combo

imo the amd is a good budget setup they are not that far behind and pretty competitive for the price.. All intel needs to do is keep an eye on them they might turn around and bit them on the ***. It's happened before and it can happen again.

Well, I want a Intel quad core, I never said I didnt. I was just trying to find everyones input before I buy it. Now realize, I dont want to pay over $500 for the motherboard/mem/and cpu together which is why ive been looking at combo deals.

Lets hear some more suggestions. If you give em to me, i'll follow them. Seriously. Ive got money in my pocket from income tax return!

Well, don't get the 680i LT motherboard if you value your sanity. The chipset fan is annoying as fvck, plus the motherboard overall isn't that impressive. I'd upgrade to the 780i platform, personally, if you want an SLI platform.

If you don't care about SLI, I'd get a P35 unit. Gigabyte and Asus are always good choices, as usual. The IP35 Pro and DFI units mentioned earlier are quite nice and MSI also has a few boards worth considering as well.
