OK thanks for helping me out.why am i helping?
anyways port area of a slot port is length * width
port area of a round port is pi*r^2
displacement of a round port is pi*r^2*h/12^3
Oh well from several threads I read, that's how it was. Now that I look at some old plans I have, it makes sense.Incorrect.

I just would like to know how much port I will have and whether or not it's too much. From what you told me, it's fine.Port area of a slot port would be width x height, which would give you the area of your port if it were a flat plane.
For a cylindrical port you would find the area of a circle, which would be pi*r^2
But port area doesnt give you volume... So I dont know why you are worried about that as it is.
And I agree, you are retarded.
Search google for the forumula to find volume of a cylinder, it is that simple.
Yeah I got one, thanks.if you gotta a scientific calculator, all you gotta do is substitute 3 for r and 22 for h
No not exactly...But seeing you have been here only since Feb, have almost 700 posts, and your reply to my thread doesn't help me in no way, what am I supposed to think about you?= Post *****I guess your caraudio skills are based on how long you have been on ca.com.

Alright, now you know. Ive never made my own plans and this is the first time. Im pretty sure I'll be ok for a 15" L7 as far as an cubic ft goes. I just wanted to know what exactly it would be.Sorry about that...I honestly thought you were joking when you asked that question. I didn't think you were for real.
