Well I think I will go for ZCON, This is really great and a cool performance.

not saying that the mayhem is the top woofer ,i'm saying that ascendant his the top company,and from what i'm told the best woofer made from the company.

Seem to have trouble with what you are trying to say. To clarify, so you don't continue to spread wrong information to unknowing people; Ascendant is the dealer based brand, Fi is the direct only brand. Neither is technically better then the other, just two different sales directions. Pretty simple to understand. Ascendant has one set price, Fi has numerous options and features, not to mention newer tech in the designs such as the new BTL and SMD. So that would kind of put Fi above AA a tiny bit in this super broad and generalized tone this topic has taken.

This is too broad and nondescript a question to answer the way you ask. There is no one better then another when different models from different brands are meant/designed for different purposes, aimed at different market segments, with different specs and different pricing.

 

In other words, you can't compare an orange to a grapefruit and say the orange is better with nothing else said.

i agree like i said i'm just saying what i was told .also the smd woofer is an ascendant woofer.which i know is still fi ,but listed none the less under ascendant

i've used fi btl ufo woofers and now have the mayhems and have for 3 years now ,maybe i'll try the ssa in the future..never know. but fr the power i run it would have to be the zcon i think.

The point that needs to be made is that there is excellent options for a goal, not one better then another. With nothing else taken into account, the Mayhem, BTL and Zcon would all kick-butt on the power originally mentioned. All three can have brutal, metal ripping output if asked to. Also, they can all have great response in the correct box, if asked to. Each has their strengths and different features and specs.

i can agree with that
