Help me choose some components...

Ok, well since its summer and time for the Lake...the old chevy is getting retired from SPL duty right now. So im looking to make a really NICE sounding setup that can get pretty dammn loud as well. So it time for new components.

Please list up some that you have had experience with that you thought sounded very good.

Price limit is around 350-400. They will recieve around 120w per side.

the kicker SS65.2's are amazing. if u can find them cheap enough. most places sell them 500.00+ i got mine refurbed for 220.00 but im sure u can find them on ebay around your price range, or lower.

I have had the following:

Memphis MCSQ6.5's

Alpine Type x 6.5's

CDT HD-6 6.5's

JL Audio XR series 6.5's

Original Cliff Designs 6.5's (not the newchina crap)

I like the CDT HD-6's the best. Althoug non of these are really high-end, the Hd's are my choice!

the Memephis lacked mid-bass, The JL's tweets were too harsh, the alpine, well numb.
