Help me choose my single 18

I can't make a decision and need advice. I want something thats about With great sq that still gets loud and hits the lows real good. Like 60/40 sq/spl I think im leaning towards the Fi q 18 but iv heard they don't get loud. Which doesn't actually mean anything to me sense loud is subjective. i guess im going for significantly louder than my se12 but hits the lows better and has great sq. can i even accomplish this? keeping this 1500 watts max

The Q will sound great in the proper box off 1000-1250rms. The surface area increase from a 12" to a 18" is 113.04 to 254.34. So that'll help with "loud" while retaining the SQ you want. And yes, it'll beat up on the lows.

The BL is also a good choice for loud. Nice force. However, they like being tuned higher, thus you sacrifice some of the lows.

I like the Q for the price.

Yeah im looking for a single 18 to someone told me for around 300 the AQ HDC3 is the best "bang" for the buck

elemental designs 19ov2 sounds pretty good

i use to have 2 of them sealed and it was very musical

i would not recomend more then 1200 rms on 1 though
