Will it sound ok? No. Personally, you would have to pay me to run kicker comps. I suggest you look elsewhere for subs.

I understand that that is not what you were asking, though. As far as how compatible they would be with that amp...what is the model of the Rockford amp? Not sure if you are talking 1000w peak or rms.

P1000-1bd, 1000 watt rms is the amp, I got these subs for cheap in a box so im gona stick with it untill I get more money

they are the 8 ohm subs

they are the 8 ohm subs

- The subs will wire down to 2.7-ish ohms

- They'll need 450-ish watts

- The amp does 500 watts @ 2 ohms

It should be fine.
