Help me choose between a couple setups

get a 12" btl and that brutus 2000w amp. you might only get like 1850w out of that amp though as hifonics tends to overate there amps, but it should still be enough to push a btl hard. just make sure that when you buy the sub to choose it for daily and not spl.

This is probably what Im going to end up doing, unless anyone can give me a better amp to power a 12'' BTL loaded. I should be very pleased with that right?

If you want to go with the BTL, go with the 12" and place it in a ported box.

Thanks man, exactly what kind of amp I was looking for. What is a H.O. amp?(sorry im a newb to terms)

i doubt hes going to spend almost a grand on an amp.

Would that be a good battery to get added next to my amp/sub?(Not replacing my stock battery)

Edit: and yeah I probably will be using the brutus amp. I would rather it be a little underpowered for a lot less money, then overpowered(always hear rockford runs a little better then it says) and 300-400 dollars more. Donno yet though because I want to use whatever i get for a long time, and not get it setup then want to replace something.

He meant H.O. alt, which is a high output alternator, and it makes sure there is enough current in your charging system to sustain the load of high-drain electronics

Yes that would be an excellent choice for a battery.

H.O. means a High Output alternator.
