Help me choose an amp

i have 1 12" SoundSplinter d2 on the way and i was wondering if you guys were in my situation what amp would you get to power it

i was looking at

ARC Audio amps

PG xenon 1200.1

RE 12.1

Diamond Audio D6 1500.1

those are some i was looking at but if anybody has anymore suggegstions then please let me know

lol, none of them. those are decent amps you have listed. a kicker kx1200.1 would do the job nicely. i had a PG tantrum 1200.1 (almost the same thing as the xenon) and they sounded great. other suggestion would be an orion 1200D, viper d1200.1, ED 9.1. those rl-p's can handle anything between 1200-2000 watts rms. of the amps you listed i would go with the xenon. also offers more flexibity if you decided to change subs.

yeah i might consider getting another rl-p but i will have to get the d4's cause the one i bought was a d2 and they dont make the d2's anymore

edit: maybe ill get the PG, im not really a huge fan of kicker

i think im gonna get the PG xenon 1200.1 because its stable at 1200 watts 1-4 ohms

Hey Shaun,

You know I just now got the 350.4 in the Durango from when I got that from you months ago... I had to send it back twice to get fixed...

Most excellent 4-channel amp, I may bridge it and run the cdt-ef24i's for the front and get another 4-channel to run a set of comps in the back..

I talked to Tracy and he dug in and got it under control... I totally thrashed it last night for about 45 minutes to give it a good work over and it didn't even warm up, actually neither of the kickers are getting warm at all and everything is driving well...

Now I have a few spare amps sitting around that I bought while waiting MMATS and SoundStream, I gotta figure out what to do with them..
