Help me choose an amp for these subs please.

I've got 2 MTX MXS1004s for free from a friend, in great condition, already boxed, both in the same box, but I'm not sure what type of amp I should get for them.

Any ideas of a specific amp? Or the specifications of the amp I'd need to get?

I think an Orion 1200d would compliment those subs nicely, or a memphis 1000d (that might be the wrong model number memphis, but the 1000w one)

Well I'm really up for buying anything as long as it's not ridiculously expensive.

I'd say if you can get them to one ohm go with an orion 1200d, and they will slam, otherwise a good 2 ohm amp would be an mtx 800.1 i think, i don't know the model number off the top of my head so look it up, but yeah, either of those will make it really nice sounding

I don't really know how to get them to any kind of special ohm or anything like that.

I'm just looking for an amp that'll work good and that I don't have to customize too much stuff to make work. I just wanna buy one, get my shit all wired up, have it be compatible and be ready to bump my music.

Any other recommendations?

plan on getting something that is more then you need because believe me when you get the bug 400 watts is not going to make you happy i have a ma 401sx 1800 rms @ .5 ohm that would push these subs just have to turn the gain down i would do 250 shipped to your door
