Help me choose a sub!

Right now Im looking at a kicker CVX 12 and a Image Dynamics ID12. I will be getting two and not yet decided on what kind of box Im putting them in. I know these subs are two different types one being SPL and the other being SQ but I want to know what you guys think I should get, I listen to rap and rock and I want a sub that sounds good but gets really low and loud. Will the ID get loud enough for me to get that feeling in your chest, I know the CVX gets plenty loud but Im not sure if it has the SQ I want? I will be giving the ID around 400 watts per sub or the CVX around 750 per sub. Thanks for any help, BTW this is going into a 2002 Explorer.

buy my Fi SSD 12" $140 shipped, perfect condition, only used for a couple of months.

It will get louder than the CVX and sound good while doing it. I'd say its a nice bridge between SQ and SPL sub. I'd say its a better choice than both of those subs, especially considering the price!

RE SEs are a nice, safe way to go. They aren't expensive either. Rockford P3's are also a nice pick.

Get 2 Bravox BVX12D4, they can get loud while sounding great in the process...

you can go with the ID and still get plenty loud. with an exlporer i'd get a ported box too. i'm sure you'll love the way it sounds.

I was running two of the higher end Cozmic series and I LOVE them. Pushin 141.9 db with out trying 143.1 when there were screaming. I'm hopeing to get one or two more db in the new truck its newer and better built so I'm hopeing I will have less loss due to bad seals.

The Kicker CVX get loud as hell but lack SQ, if you want a good combo of loud and clean then you should check out the IDQ version 3 subs instead of the regular ID or CVX's.

I'd get 2 12" jl audio w6's or do the image dynamics.
