Help me choose a Focal sub or other

OK, I am going to be pushing the sub with a Planet Audio BB350.1 which will give 350W at 2 ohms.

I am thinking of going with the Focal 27V1 or 27V2 since 11" seems like a nice compromise between a 10 and a 12 and I like Focal stuff.

The V1 is nominal 250W and max 500W

The V2 is nominal 300W and max 600W

Has anyone heard these subs or have a recommendation? Is there something better out there under $300 that will be optimal for around 350watts?

Oh, the 27V1 is $237 at car toys and the 27V2 is $289 at woofersetc.com

I'd go with the V2. The way things kinda work at focal is when new lines are brought out, often everything is kinda moved down. So basically you get something closer to the older K series subs in the V2. The price Tronner mentioned is small enough that there should be no argument.
