What does this do?

What will it do to a sub when you screw it down and the drill slips off and puts a small hole into the rubber foam surround around the cone....I have a sub wiht a small hole in it...Will this affect anything...Its not big at al...is there a way to repair?

Howe big is "not big at all"? You can silicone it with clear silicone. It should be alright.

Never EVER use a drill if you dont have the experience. Always pre-drill and get the screw started with a screwdriver. A little late for the free advice but now you know for next time.

Yep Im a Noob...Ill admit it..I believe everyone was at once or unless you were just born knowing everything..But anyways...Yeah i didnt pre drill..It was late and I was drinkin...So anyways, its a rubber surround...So just put some silicone on the outside

In the future a good rule to follow is never use a power tool near something that can easily be damaged.

The few minutes you save arent worth the risk.

experienced people dont need to worry about it. i guess non of us should use an impact on a rim or any car part.
