Now to decide between the AQ HDC3s i was offered or .....the Fi Q ......both about same price....opinions?? which will get lower and loud

I knew that was coming....my only issue with 15s is that they pretty much love low lows and thats it. So i'd probably need to upgrade my midbass...taking my cost right back up! lol

15s can play as high as a 10. Since it has more cone area, it's louder on the low end. As well as it should on the high end. Though bottom line, the box will determine everything for you.

What amp are you running? The hdc3's will be louder but the Q's would dig deeper and sound nice with decent output. But again, comes back to the box. AQ likes 36-40 tuning while the Q's like lower than that. Either is a fine choice and the AQ's can get low, even tuned that high. You can also put about 2000 on each hdc3. I'm running that to mine. For 2 years now.

My opinion is that you go with 2 12 Q's if you have 2000 rms going to them. But if you want to go cheaper, getting a 15" AQ would be real nice. Or SPLaudio 15 sub.

Heard a pair of lethal injections last night on an amercian bass 100.1 and it got low and lloud! I know the Guy who built his box so iill probably get one too. Tuned to 30-31hz. Increasing budget to 400 for pair of 12s. Wanna beat his incriminators tho, any suggestions?

Sundown sa, DC level 3,Aq hdc3, 13.5 w6 local deal, either sub gettin 750 to 1000 rms each

For that wattage and that tuning, i'd go with sundown sa's. If they are getting 750~1000 watts each, they should beat his. But just depends on box, car, ect.

Level 3, it might be fine on that wattage but just in case, i'd get it with lvl 4 coils but that would push the budget up as well.

Hdc3, does not like that tuning in my opinion. And they are power hungry. Like I mentioned, my one takes the 2200d all day.

And a w6 is more for sound quality. It still has output but you're not going to beat a couple LI's.
