Help me buy a jl 1000/1 AMP

hmmmm anythin else that i can buy right NOW !!!!! ?

i only need 1000RMS no more no less 1200RMS is a maybe

but like i said guys i want something wtih good resale value for those rainy days

plus i dont hear anythin about jl amps messing up unless u mess it up yourself they are solid no ?

Oh, and who cares about JL's warranty. The JL 1000 had just run out of warranty, but was bought from an authorized dealer. They told me it would cost 225 (not including shipping) to fix the amp, and the only thing wrong with it was a loose connector piece (the part that the power/ground wires goes into). All they would have to do was reinforce it so it wasn't loose again, and they charge 225 regardless of what's wrong with it.
DB-R fixed it for 75$ and also redid some weak solder joints he found, all for the 75$.

I could have bought 3 JL 1000 amps at the price I paid for mine, for the price of 1 through an authorized dealer.

i love the amp dont get me wrong but for the $ you can get a ton of power from other places.

just great that it does power at the loads it does

i know the price i gave you was probably more than you wanted to hear but considering what i paid and its got VERY little use i dont think it was all that bad of a price

I think he should get a used one for the low low between 350-450 and then if he needs to sell it he could get the majority of his money back. I have had a JL 500/1, 300/4, and a 450/4 and I was able to sell them for what I paid for them plus some. So from me to you search around online. I was able to pick up that 450/4 for a very cool price............//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif and for the 500/1 and the 300/4 lets just say 250 for both isn't a bad deal. And I didn't have any problems with any of those amps.
