i sure as hell wasnt going to read this whole thread but i read a few pages of it ... anyway, i am running 2 12" RL-p with 1 NINe.1 at 1 Ohm off a Premier 860 6V preouts, i had no probs with any type of break in or anything like "spiders to stiff" , my gain is no where near where you at first had it at 60%, i barely had to turn mine up at all to achieve the correct voltage read out, maybe 10% and it wangs believe me. At first i had my gain too high causing clipping and you could see the sub surround wrinkling and hear the sub "knocking" inside the box, with the help of mike from soundsplinter we determined that the sub was bottoming out, causing the knock, so i reset the gains again and have had no probs. i have no idea what pwee pwee sound your talking about could be
