HELP installed clarion equalizer now front speakers dont work.....

EQ clarion.

If i hook up my RCAs from my ampS to my HU without the clarion equlizer the front door speakers work. all four front speakers work. the rear speakers are not amped just the front 4 are amplified by the amp. and my seperate sub amp works also.

Okay everything up front works fine. So i recently got a clarion 746 equalizer. i hooked up power,ground,remote, then the main RCA from EQ to the headunit. From there i added my sub RCAS. i also put Front and rear RCAS from my amp to the EQ. I hook everything back up turn on the music.

The problem is that why the front speaker only work and not the left door and both tweeters. its driving me crazy. i adjust the fader to middle or left right still no diffrence. left it in the middle/ the sub volume control works main volme works etc but the dam drivers side speakers and right speaker tweeter dont work also. i hear some static sound from the left tweeter. i assume it should be working.

i dont know whats wrong if i hook up my RCAS to my HU without installing the EQ front speaker works fine.

what the hell is wrong is my EQ bad??? its brand new ......

may wanna look at the frequency adjustments on the eq ,turn them up if needed

okay i tried that already. i adjusted all the knobs but only the right door speaker seems to work sound comming out of. the other speakers have no sound. idk

on the amp i try adjusting setting hp lp settings and off setting. still nothing.

if you do not have sound coming thru all the speakers when using the eq, then it maybe the eq ,but if the one side plays but not the tweeter ,then something else is happening .are the front speakers components or just speakers with the tweeters added extra ?

okay door speakers are coaxial kenwood speakers, both side tweeters added infinity tweeters that have crossovers. the tweeters are added but run speperate wire to the amp. the only speaker that works is the right door coaxial speaker. sound is not comming out of left coaxial speaker and right tweeter. but left tweeter sound like static sound coming out.

disconnect the speaker wires from the amp and check each set with a dmm and make sure they all are in working order ,if they are fine then reconnect the wires to the amp. next try checking the rca's to make sure they are also good ,move them around to see if you can get the other speakers and tweets working.really just sounds like something is going on with the wiring

swap rca's from left to right and see if the other speaker starts working

found the prob. swaped RCAs from amp from R to L. seemed all right side to work always only one side. then the main RCA to HU R to Left. the Main RCA one side was no good... replaced it worked good...
