someone local is selling 2 of these but does not know the model or anything for that matter. when i asked which models he responded dd i asked what vc configuration to which he does not know . are they worth 100

Not sure of the series. Can't tell from the pictures.

They've got a stamped steel basket, which makes me think redline series, but the motor looks too big. 600 series maybe?

The bottom of the motor would give us a better understanding

Surrounds messed up. Stamped basket. If you really really need some bump go check them out and make sure they play fine. But other wise I'd pas for something better on local Craisglister or something.

I'd take the pair for 100 if they work fine

I would say a DD redline 600,1000,or 2000.. If you go to their website it's the biggest stamped steal basket woofer they have. The other models had smaller motors... The first woofer in the slide show pictures on the 600 page is wrong even though it shows the redline 600 on the motor it's not the right picture. Scroll over and that's a redline 600. The picture is either a 12" or 15" but I think that's The same model your asking about. See what size coil is it in?
