So today I decided to hook my subs back up. i'm running 4awg wire to a 1 fayrad cap, then into distribution blocks, then into amp as usual. the only thing i did differently this time, was that i twisted together the + and - from 16awg speaker wire for my remote wire. i turned the system on, and smoke started coming from the remote port and the LED went out.
does this mean that i completely fried the amp? or can it be repaired?
