HELP! I hit a speed bump now my stereo does not work!

I hit a speedbump going way too fast the other night and ever since my stereo has been acting weird. When I turn the volume up past halfway, the midbass speakers in my front 2 way active system begin to crackle, cut out, and lose their signal. All the rca cables are in place and grounds are nice and tight. Again, all I did was hit a speedbump. I have also noticed a very soft buzzing noise when i turn on the stereo that was not present before.

I assume they're amped?...I would check your speaker wire connections as well..

I think it was a mediocre install, and if the wires arent shot somewhere, internally something is lose.

What kind of headunit? Maybe you have a pioneer and the RCAs got a little loose during the bump on the back of the head unit? Also, your amplifier may have become damaged, or the speakers are blown somehow now. Try plugging in different speakers or double check wiring.

P.S. Make sure the wires are connected to your speakers correctly, and if not... you probably moved something inside the amp. lmao...

I pulled the headunit and everything looks good there also. They are amped, but the connections at the amp look fine. I am stumped!

Check EVERY connection, all of them, pull the speakers out and check them too.

Also, check all the fuses.
