I will check out the Shiva's..do you have a good lead on Dealers,web site etc.. I hope they aren't "ONLY" Loud and deep though!!

One thing that does confuse me about the Kappa Perfects, it does seem to be unanimous that they lack max power capability. yet Infinity claims 350 watt RMS but 1400 watt max watts...that seems wrong!!!

again, I also am talking SEALED ENCLOSURE!!!! for basing my opinion.. I agree that Infinity may not be for a bandpass box in a guys trunk..I don't know bout dat!

http://www.adireaudio.com - they are primarily SQ drivers, but they also have a nice amount of SPL.

Infinity clams a max of 1400 for a number of reasons, all of which have no relevance to a realistic daily driver setup. The only thing that matters is a thermal RMS of 350.

Thanks Gauntlet....but the Shiva page has the words "DEEP BASS" written all over it.....

I never said infinity's "BUMPED the best" I said that they "HIT hard"

but I am dying to get an earfull of what they can do..they look pretty **** impressive..especially that BRAHMA series!

Maybe I am confused...There is a diffrence between Deep bass and hard hitting bass...right

Deep bass is what you hear in a mini truck "Bumping" outside your apartment but you can't hear the songs lyrics...hard hitting bass is what you hear with a ONKYO home stereo and $1500 Bose speaker system...

If I may quote Crutchfield....

"a 12" Sub will play "DEEPER" but not necessarily "Louder" than a 10" Sub".???????????

I mean MTV is popular..but thier music sucks...thats not opinion it's fact and such is life and Car Audio debates. Currently (may not be your fault) JL Audio is the Eminem of Subs. just cause he sells albums don't mean he's better than Gangstarr. it's a Fad or atleast percieved that way, so I can't have any faith, especially after listening to them. I don't let MTV tell me what to listen to and I don't let a Magazine spread of Shaq's Escalade dictate my subs. Not that JL's are not good...but "most" buy them for the

This may be unfair but I see who has JL's around L.A...and I don't think they have alot of taste, just alot of BASS!

fad thing?maybe...but the w7 aint cheap..and if its a fad it would only last so far untill ppl realize it aint that good..and i dont know a whole lot of w7 users who say they dont like it.granted,there are some out there,but i dont know them.

as far as jl ghetto bass??...uhmmmm NO...when i think some bass that would come from a retail store.i wouldnt think jl.id think kicker.for the money that is.i havent compared l7 to w7 so i dont know how much more bass either has.but its oh uh 3-500 cheaper i believe,in a store that is...if u want bass and sq..AA is it dude.i used to think jl was the shizz,then kicker,THEN i got to the forums,and realized"wow, there IS BETTER STUFF THAN RETAIL"hmmm maybe you should realize the same too??i think so..all i have to say is id never heard the XXX before i bought it and went out on a 410$ limb and bought it...needless to say...another one is gonna be in my car soon...hehe.look into RE and AA..hey eD is always nice,theres others out there.i forgot them,or dont know em.for 150 maybe an eD k would do it?jl ghetto bass...i think not
