OP- Just work with paypal. You can escalate that claim anytime you like which will start that "investigation" by paypal to recover your lost funds.

i never gift paypal, period. no exceptions, there are even some i would trust, but still won't. if you are in the position to gift, then it's no different just adding the fees on top of the price instead. keeps my paypal cleaner, and many times i get shipping updates, etc.

Yea I trust my friends if they wanna ruin our relationship over a few bucks then so be it but I know they want. I would gift subzero a grand if he needed it. Friends are hard to come by and I like to take care of my friends.

I think I am.Hurry up and file the claim and dont wait as I did, and be too late.If there was an issue for his side of the explanation, then he will understand for the claim, and possibly try to conduct buisness differently next time.GET R DONE!
