Help Guys Pioneer Deh 840Mp Deck

Hey guys

am having some trouble with my pioneer 840mp deck

basically what is happening is that everytime i eject a cd and insert a new cd the display screen goes blank. i have to pull the deck out and put it back in for the display to come back on. could this be the ribbon cable? i had replaced it a few months ago because i had that motorized problem with the deck being stuck.

could you guys help me out on this?

The ribbon is probably damaged.
