Help for a noob. (RF 1001bd)

I was given an old school Rockford Fosgate 1001bd and 12 inch HX2 DVC 2 ohm. I want to properly fuse this amp at the battery and amp (no fuse on the amp) for my daily driver. I only plan on running the amp at a 4 ohm load (don't need to be too loud). Rockford recommends a 100 amp fuse (I'm guessing for both at the battery and amp), but would that be overkill if I'm only going to run it at 4 ohms?

This will be all hooked up to a Sony S310BTX HU.

Also, suggestions for a budget-friendly inline fuse holder and a new set of RCAs would be nice (Knu Karma?). I already have some RF 4 gauge wiring.

fuse at the battery not the amp.it will be fine

just fuse the 4awg at 100A. you could get away with less, probably 60A, but there is no benefit/harm with 100A.

i like streetwires fuse holders and RCA's.
