Help designing box for Obsidian V3's

I purchased 2 12" Obsidian V3's and I'd like to build a ported box 2 cubic feet per sub tuned to 33 HZ.

Recommended enclosure info:

Ported ~ 1.75 to 2 ft^3 @ 32 to 35 Hz

Anyone use Obsidians before and know the kind of boxes they like?

I was just going to use the RE box tool to make things simple but I'm unsure of port surface area and length.

The only info they provide is:

http://www.stereointegrity.com/images/Obsidian/Technical/Recommended%20Port%20Surface%20Areas.pdf

Which doesn't make much sense, I don't think they are very clear in what they are trying to say.

Can someone give me some tips on filling out the blanks?

RE AUDIO - Box Calculator

I was starting with 33wx14hx22d but I'm unsure of square port width and square port width 2.

Thanks..

Download torres calculator ...re one blowwws
Either calculator is fine by me, but I just don't know jack when it comes to ports. I just know what size I need the box, and that I'd like to tune to 32-33HZ no more than 2 cubes per sub after displacment. Just don't know how long, and wide to make the ports and what the surface area is supposed to be..

Are you using a 4"aero?

13-16 square inches per cube for a slot port.. 8-11 is usually good enough for an aero. Port per cube isn't the best way to calculate port area, but it will get the job done.

when i ran my oas. i did 4.65^3 net @33Hz using 2 4" aeros. those things got crazy low and decently loud. still have the box no carpet or finish work done as i change subs like underwear at times.

what amp are you using to push the subs?
anywhere from 3.5 - 4 net tuned to 32-35hz would do fine

Also I'd use 1 6" aero vs 2 4" for efficiency purposes
AQ2200 or Hifonics 2200.1 if I can't find the AQ2200. Is this better? Is my port per cube too low?

I'm not going to make my box pretty either lol
