HELP cutting hole for sub!

Simply put, where do I cut the hole? The box is 24 inches long, where should the center of the sub go? Middle, offset, does it even matter?

I have always went centered.

Will be almost purely cosmetic though towards the side may be slightly louder depending on how the box sits in your trunk
