You obviously didn't look hard enough lol.. They make a SVC and DVC version for the 10" and 12". The only difference I think is the DVC version requires a bit bigger enclosure than the SVC version. Are you trying to run one sub at 2 ohms or 2 subs at 1 ohm?I'm looking all over for a Dayton audio HO that's dual 4 ohm

Yea get the amp first, then determine which subs to get. so either run at 2 ohms with a smaller box or 1 ohm with a slightly bigger box.. 1500w @ 2 ohms is pretty darn good if you ask me.. that would be perfect for the daytons.. a mids amp can still be used as a sub amp.. people do it all the time.. as long as it can do that power at 2 ohms, you're set.2 @ 1
I did see a creshendo sub amp that's 1500 x 1 I believe @ 2 ohms or something like that in case I went with the single 4 ohms ones. But that S1500 1F might be a mids amp. Says 1500 x 1 @ 2 ohms though

I see your concern.. Yea I guess the crossovers are made for mids.. That's a gang of power just for mids. What kind of headunit do you have? Some headunits you can set lpf on your subs and keep your amp crossover off.. You also need to find out if the bandpass crossover can be turned off or else it's pretty much useless to you. I have a AQ2200 amp I'm selling if you're interested. Does roughly 1500-1600w @ 2 ohms, 2200@ 1ohm. You would need good electrical to run this amp though.. How big is your alternator and what kind of battery are you running?check out the specs on the S1500 1F . Look all the way down at crossover type also , ect

Found a thread about how much power the AQ amp does at 2 ohms.

So it seems your headunit does have a LPF but the only thing I'm worried about is if the crescendo amp you're talking about has an on and off switch for the bandpass crossover. If it doesn't, the lowest it goes is 500hz which is not even subwoofer territory. You need to find that out from the person you're trying to buy it from.Head unit: Pioneer DEH 610 BT
My mustangs amp is a 130A I'm pretty sure. It's a 95 and the Alternator is a 130 A
I'm going to make up my own Big 3 upgrade and also going to run 1/0 gauge from battery to the rear
Here's the manual. When you get a minute check pages 38-42 they show the settings and adjustments. You guys can further help me out learning more about the curves, rolloffs, things like that. I know some basic stuff as to slopes and stuff but surely can learn a lot more

Yes I looked at the manual for your headunit and it says you can set it to 50, 63, 80, 100, or 120 hz. As long as it has it's own RCA to the sub amp, you can filter out the frequency. The only problem is the amp itself.. try to find that out. Yes AQ = SQ. Audioque is what Soundqubed used to be called. It's the same amp as the SQ2200 basically but with the old logo.sorry just getting back to you guys, long long day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
I will call them tomorrow to verify rather that's the case with the am or not. I really didn't look at the manual I sent you this morning on the subwoofers LPF settings. Does it go low enough that will suffice?
What is the AQ amp? AQ as in Soundqubed product?
wouldn't frequencies lower than 50 be better overall for lower bass? like 40 or so?Yes I looked at the manual for your headunit and it says you can set it to 50, 63, 80, 100, or 120 hz.
