Help clipping

it could be, but you need to put that 1/0 in . do a good ground then see what you have. it may be something else . but that wire you have is no good for your system.do 1 think at a time. wire first.

Can you write up a list of things i should tackle after wire? So far, Headunit, wire, ground, and?

I would set all of my setting in the HU down or off - including eq bands, then set all of the setting down or off on the amp, disconnect bass knob if you have one, then play a 60hz tune at about 3/4 of your volume max and set my gain with a DMM. First calculate what your voltage output / gain should be . This way if it clips at your recommended voltage/gain then you can rule out settings as being your culprit and you can focus on wiring.
