help choosing sub and amp

hi,

new member here and im in need of some help.

im going to get a sub and amp sometime this week but i know nothing about them really.

i dont need anything crazy loud but something can can hit pretty hard.

i have about $250-$300 to spend on the sub and amp together, not including the box and wireing. im just looking at one 12"

can you guys help me pick a good sub and amp that will work together correctly and send me a link...thanks and a link showing me what wiring kit would be great too.

too vague a question, however if you are looking for something more than a couple hundred watts the amp is probably gonna cost that alone, might be worth checking classifieds frequently

alpine type R 12" dual 2, and a hifonics Bxi1208... should be able to put them together for less than 300
