Help choosing some nice door speakers

Hey guys I'm looking to get some new door speakers for my car. I've been looking at a couple different brands, but could use some input on which to get. I've owned alpine type r's and mid grade powerbass 6.5's and wasn't too impressed with the quality. I was thinking about going with some RE xxx's since I just got 2 RE MX 12's. Any input/ideas?

What's your budget like?

Depending on cash I'd say go with something that's not gunna let you down and you be very impressed for a long time I'd go with a set of hertz mlk165 components.

I don't really have a set budget, I figure if I'm doing it in my new car I'm doing it right. What kind of price you looking to get for your hertz set?

hertz mlk165 retailed for 1000$..

I'd sell mine for 675$+ shipping there essentially brand new in box.

Also have a slightly more used set id sell for 600$+ shipping
