I just got an HP Pavilion Laptop, I got it at best buy, I was going to build one but I needed it sooner than it would arrive, and they had one that was very close to the one I built. Its awesome, i love it! The battery lasts about 4 -5 hours while doing some intense installing and using multiple programs at once, I also watched a dvd on it while it was defragging. Its sweet, it cost a good bit but my Mom said to get the best one so I did! hehe //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifClick here to go to best buy's website, I know it says its sold out but my local store had some in stock, my other choice was the SE edition one, but this one had 2Gb of RAM so I figured its a good investment, I wanted the AMD processor but this one came with the intel centrino duo and it works awesome, I wont be using my computer that intensly so I dont think it will make a difference. Hope you can figure out which one to pick, Im not sayin to get the best but get the most for your money.
Also check out compusa, they have some nice pre-built comps too. Also you might do good to wait until a few days after the new year when new models may come out and the stores will want to get rid of the "old models".
