I was wondering if I could take off a fan from my old pc and put it on this pc......

It's possible to my knowledge, but where do I connect it?

Ah, in that case your graphics card probably is at fault.

If it has a fan on it, blow the heatsink out with air and make sure its working.

Yes, you can install another fan if its running too slow, or if it doesnt have one.

1. i doubt you can take ur old fan off your pc cause it prolly is a dif socket and stuff

2. what kinda computer do you have C&C generals is that good to overheat comps

3. it does not confirm that your overheating its just saying your computer has problems probably virus or spyware

4. what are the specs on the comp?

i would try and decrease some of the game settings and see if you can play fine. im assuming that you are playing the game and then it stops and you get that message.

Pc is clean from viruses, etc.

I best leave it alone then lol

Where the fan sits on some block thing it's rather fresh and not hot....

Only thin that's really hot is my hard drive

Also, the fan has 3 pins and there's a tiny connection that has 3 pins too.

When is the last time you air dusted it out? Also look for a PC fan monitor of some kind. What kind of computer do you have?
