No i'm not I had a 2200 watt amp on one yellowtop and stock alt of course it was going to dim I added a d5100 and now my lights don't dim.

I suspect OP's native language is NOT English and he is using a translator.

There are almost no situations where a capacitor is good. Almost always bad. What you probably need is another battery or larger alternator.

OP, why do you think you need a capacitor? Are you having problems with something? What equipment and car do you have?

I would beg to differ on both counts. From personal experience batteries do fix voltage drop/dimming issues (provided there isn't some other problem somewhere at least)

you can figure it all out by asking yourself, what exactly is dimming? then asking yourself, what voltage does my battery begin to discharge at? once you honestly answer those questions youll realize batteries cannot fix dimming
