Help building system for a noob!

Hey guys,I just joined and need some help.I am building a 69 Camaro that is getting wrapped up for SEMA and need to get a stereo for it.I have had decent stereos in the past .I tried to do some research before making this post and there is to much info.

So far this is what I am considering,keep in mind im no stereo guy so feel free to give your opinon's thats why Im here.

1 JL 12w7 or 2 Kicker L7 12's

1 JL 1000/1-Black if I can find it.

1 JL 450/4- Black

I am really undecided on door speakers and package tray speakers.I can go as big as 6".A far as head units im undecided if I want a DVD/nav or just a cd player.Sorry is this is vague but im pretty much a noob.

IMHO, if a car like that is immaculate it shouldnt need audio to win the judges pick, but if you have the money, JL would be fine.

You could go for a company like JL or Kicker if you want people to be intruiged visually. Or you could go with smaller companies and have people intruiged audibly and the smalelr comapnies may offer you discounts for using their product (ie, sponsorship). The budget is really what it takes to get it done.It isn't the focal point of the car,it just need to be clean and sound decent.NOt all out competition.Maybe 4-6k.

The car is a 69 camaro with an all aluminum brodix 373 ci Intercooled twin turbo 1000+ HP .With a T-56 speed,4 link,currie 9 inch,WD sub,baer brakes,HRE wheels etc,etc.....

I suppose I could do fiberglass,but I am pretty much running out time.The builder does his own interior line and they are fiberglass molds,so I see that being no problem.

yea i heard the SS series in an integra off of a 650.4 and it was absolutely amazing

I would suggest 2 kicker s12l7 dual 2 ohms off a kicker zx1500.1 and kicker ss 6.5 components up front off a zx650.4. that ought to sound and look awesome.

I can only go 6" max on the doors.There is an area above the rear seats where i could do those but would still need door speakers.
