My point is PG should rethink their midrange product; either find a better company to produce them or redesign them. I just dont like the Xenon line. It seems like it is bases on gimmicks like subcone LEDs... ok well I can't actually think of any others at the moment. My arguement is weak, I know, but it is also my opinion and everyone is entitled to an opinion(flawed or otherwise).

But hey, EDs old K series subs had the same baskets as some of the RE subs did, that must mean RE makes sound splinter AND eD....crazy

I could see the mistake if they even looked similar.........but the SS subs use different cones/baskets/spiders (w/ interwoven tinsel leads)/top & bottom plates/etc. They don't even look similar at all, other than the fact that they are both subwoofers....

Not to mention they are built at different buildhouses, Destijl (RE) and TC Sounds (SS). But, ofcourse, TC sounds apparently models their subs after RE and uses 90% of the same parts //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

You obviously dont know anything because SS=RE and RE=eD=SS and visa versa...

i woud get oz audio matrix elite subs. i have to and they are being far underpowered right now and they are great. very good sound quality and pretty loud. i cant wait til my new amp gets in. i ordered a directed audio 1100d for my subs.

and for the front stage i have cdt ef61 and they are beig powered by a crappy amp and i think they sound good. im working on the baffles and setting everything on them still so i cant wait to hear that all worked out as well.

I've heard the xenons, didn't sound nearly as good as my alpine

Rear fill will work fine. They say it takes away from front stage imaging, but I wouldnt worry about it.

rear fill can and usually does totally destroy all staging and imaging. how many channels is stereo? and there is nothing quite like having half of your speakers out of sync.

quad is 4 channel stereo is 2 channel quad died in the early 80's
