Alright, so I hooked back up the aftermarket unit and still no sound from the aftermarket HU, but the stock HU works. The aftermarket boots up as normal and appears normal, just no sound. I Can't exactly remember how to hook up the antenna adapter to the aftermarket unit, so I took some pix in hopes someone may be able to direct me.
I hooked up the red and silver male connector to the back of the aftermarket HU.
This is the piece attached to the male connector, I don't know if I need to plug something into the white insert attached to the male connector, but also attached is a blue wire that looks to be the antenna wire. I spliced that blue wire from the adaptor into the antenna wire behind the HU. Still nothing, can someone point me in the right direction?
This connector was plugged into the factory radio (i'm assuming this is the factory antenna wire, but not sure) Does this piece need to be connected to the aftermarket HU in anyway?
