You need a 4awg wiring kit with RCA's, and a shop that can hook it up, because(no disrespect) but until you sit in on a few installs you dont need to do the install.

If you have a stock radio you also need a line output convertor...

And yes, that setup will work just fine, if you have the room go with a 15, but run the sub ported either way...ported for the louder ftw

You'll get a little more power out of it at 1ohm, as you would at 2ohms.

Which, in either way, you'll be fine with the combo.

Only way to learn is to try. Follow directions and double check everything before hooking it up.

This is a simple install. You could do the install if you wanted to. IMHO when it comes to car audio installs trial and error is a big part of the experiance. If you have the money and really feel that you are not capable of handling this install then by all means get it done professionally. There are so many people on this car audio forums that could walk you through this pretty basic install. Just think about it.

yea i want to try and do it myself to learn the only thing im worried about is making a box. i dont have the tools to make the cuts and such what wiring kit do you guys suggest ?
