I had made a previous thread regarding my battery light coming on intermittently. I had gotten my YT tested while installed and they said it wasnt charging right. So I replaced it yesterday with a diehard platinum...this morning, same problem...bat light flickers on and off. It seems to do it when I brake hard too. The car is an 03 accord V6 with 6ispd ******. I got a 200a excessive amperage alt in it as well. I had issues with the first one squeeking, so this is my second,..it still squeaks. I put this new one in in like december of 08 so its not old. Big 3 is done in 0awg. Any ideas?

*edit: i realized i typed "was" instead of "wasnt" in the first line lol my bad*

x2 check your grounds
well i havent unbolted it to look or anything but the Bat-->Chassis connection is pretty tight. when i initially did it, i made sure to sand off all the paint and shit as well. ill check it out though.

but what do you guys make of the Autozone guy saying my bat's bad? he wheeled out his little cart thing to load test the bat and check the output current of the alt...

im gonna go back to Autozone right now and have them test it out of the car.

If ur braking hard, chances are ur battery might be moving a bit causing this...
I had this happen years ago, then again my battery wasnt strapped down, lol...
nah, its in there nice and tight

thats what she said //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

the car doesn't like the HO alt.if it's not too much trouble put the stock alty back in and see if the issue persist.
ive never heard of such an issue. i didnt know my car could have a temperament //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

it may be the ECU or the cars computer that is throwing the batt light to flicker cause of the high amperage or the low amperage the alt does.
