Help Asap!!!!!!!!!!!!

so bascially on a fter i connect the - to - on each amp basically i just wire all my subs +'s too the master amp, and the all my subs -'s to the slave amp?

If I were you, I'd get the maxxlink, link all 5 amps for a total of 7500 watts and call it a day. For only $180.00 plus tax for the maxxlink.
true but. did u see my post above urs is that how i strap these amps?

Yep, but the RCA's need to be connected to the master amp as well as the bass remote. A seperate RCA cable from the master output RCA jack to the slave input RCA jack. Us the master slave to control the EQ settings.

Yes, it's that simple.

Do they have master/slave capabilities? If not you have to buy an link system for multiple amplifiers. Hifonics Maxxlink works well. If they are master/slave capatable, all positive sub wires connect to the master amp positive. All negative sub wires connect to the slave positive and a jumper cable from the negative terminals of boths amps. Master amp will have crossover control.
nevermind my dumb *** missed that post i just seen it thanks

I have a feeling we'll be blowing some subs in this thread. = (
lol sorry for the attitude guys but im trying to get this build right i dont have everything i need yet. but currrently have 12 of these kenwoods 12's and 5 of these 15001ds plan by christmas 8 1500d's 16 12's

ok cool so - - jumper} all subs + to master amp + all subs - to slave amp + or -? just got confused cause first u posted use slave amp +, but when i asked do i use slave amp - you also said that was correct too.

But, there has got to be a way to determine which amp is master or slave. There should be a switch or knob...something to turn that amp to a master and the other to slave. If If I were you, I'd find this out first.

Actually if I were you, I'd buy the maxxlink and be dont with it. Besides, you'll have more power running 2 amps linked than 2 amps strapped. IDK why, but linked amps pull less current and produce more power...plus I think it's safer to do.

doesnt the amp that uses the line in and line out becomes the master amp automatically? because on these amp it has bridge output and bridge input. so i take from first amp i run rca from bridge output and put it into second amp bridged input thats what im thinking

Master++subSlave+-sub

master--slave

slave--master
thanks bro gotcha thats exactly how the manual has it. man im on cold medicine bad i dont know why i couldnt get it reading the manual but got it when u basically just did the same thing the maual did!? oh hell ummm i may order the maxxlink in a bit, dont know if i want to order another amp and wait till i get all 8 amps then order the maxxlink or what

yes exactly. thats how im doing it on my amps. that will allow each amp to see 1 ohm. ultimatly both amps will be working at 2 ohms because theyre power is strapped. good luck dude. match a color on an rca to bridge them as well. if you need to know anything else just ask me
