Help ! amplifier giving very soft muffled sound

hi i have a 5 ch amplifier which i use to power all my music i took out the amp to make an amp rack for it but when i reinstalled it i wasnt getting much sound at all unless i turned the head unit up to max and still that was very soft compared to its usual out put also it sounds very muffled any help i checked the fuses, ground and pre amp but it still isnt working

Check to see if out if phase Also plug an iPod direct. See if it plays right

gota love ipod test fixed probs for me in past that I could not figure out for days.

The iPod test. Can help eliminate either bad rcas or a bad deck. Which is usually one of the most common problems here

Look on the deck to see if there's a sub setting also change the RCA to the sub amp from the deck what do you have for a pre amp ?
