For a budget I would go with 4 of these-- Sony Xplod XS-L124P5 .They are avail. around here in virginia for $165 a pair out the door all day.That is with a 1 year warr. So there you have it.4 12" speakers with a good mtx amp and you could be set within and around your budget.

you only got that high cause they were usin' a junk meter they baught from walmart that morning, my 6x9's would hit better than those sonys!!! hell i could throw my sub i just got in a old box for my L7 and not even build a baffal board for it and still kill you

It was at a MECA sponsored event. I'm assuming the TL is used @ all of them. Would you like to be any more of a d*uche bag? He did what he did with what he said... Score is black & white.

If the score and equipment used are true, then be that much more proud that people find it this hard to believe you were able to accomplish such a feat.

People where accually pretty pissed because they where saying how they hit this and that the year before(2003).They did use a TL and I believe it was the first year for it being used.I had my audio control three.1,MTX 1501D, 1/0 guage of course.But it is all good with all the flaming //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif .People wonder how and why these subs get so loud and hit hard.Well I over power them using a great mtx amp everytime. I don't abuse my stuff with gains and freq knobs being all jacked up.I have not blown any subs so far so I think I am doing pretty well.

If the OP was to use kickers I would reccomend the cvx.It is a great woofer from kicker.But I would look around for a while and hear some friends set-ups.Being in the military I know atleast half of the 18-21 men have some type of aftermarket system in there cars.Good luck.
