Hey there guys,

I am a noob when it comes to anything audio related, so please bare with me. I am looking for a good headunit that I will be using in conjunction with my CarPC. Im inclined to go with Clarion or Alpine, though please make any suggestions at all - whatever I go with - Im probably going to have to import it anyway since very few things are available locally (South Africa).

What Im looking for:

- Cost

- Single Din

- Signal to noise ratio > 100db and above

- THD

I am willing to go to a higher budget if its worth it, but I dont need anything other than good sound quality. So no need for bluetooth, ipod integration, sat nav - or whatever (gonna have everything I need via my CarPC).

Sorry for another "whats the best hu" question, but I hope the above helps narrow down the options a bit!

You could go with Alpine's CDA-9887. Get the KTX-100EQ to go along with it, seeing as how you have the budget.

If you are willing to change your mind, the Pioneer DEH-P800PRS offers some great sound.

They both have AUX for your car PC. I believe the Pioneer requires purchasing an adapter.
