help a noob with a sub

i was wiring my sub and i have pretty much wired to my sub i think i have speaker wire from sub to amp have rca cables to head unit have ground to amp have 12 volt to amp what else do i need

You need a remote turn on wire, and are you sure that the speaker is wired up for the right impedence for your amp, also punctuation is nice, kinda hard to tell where your senteces end.

yeah remote turn on and make sure you have the subs hooked up right for the amp.

Run a 20 Gauge wire from the remote turn on wire (on the back of the HU, Usually either blue, or blue with a whit stripe) To the terminal on the amp labled REM or remote turn on.
