Help a noob out

Guys, im such a fkn noob. I want some good sound in my car. Its a 2003 Dodge Neon SXT and i have a Pioneer Deh-780mp head unit. Ive been doin some research on speakers and ive come to the conclusion of the Polk Momo MMC6500's and MMC690's. I would like to amplify these speakers but thats where im stumped. I dont know crap about amps. So here are my questions.

1. Is it possible to hook up all of my speakers to an amp and still control the crossovers through the head unit?

2. What does ohm and rms mean in terms of sound quality? Ive looked all over for this answer but all i get is really technical explanations that have nothing to do with sound quality.

3. Do i need any special wireing? if i do is it worth it to buy the expensive stuff?

4. What amp would you guys recommend for the speakers ive picked? Im looking for good clear sound and something that will get as loud as possible. I dont wanna pay over $300 but the cheaper the better.

1. ok i dont know about your HU but you can buy 1 4ch. amp and power all of them, but i would go for 2 diff amps one for the front stage and one for the rear. makes things a lot easier.

2.ohm and rms doesnt have much to do with Sq to my knowlegde rms has to do with how many continuos watts you can put to the speaker and ohm is how it is wired and how you get your watts from your amp to your speaker

3. you're gonna need an "amp wiring kit" which will include everything you need to wire up your amp and speakers... wire is pretty much wire... gauge (thickness) is what you should be concerned with... you also need to look for quality connectors and fuse holders (very important) (these will come with the amp kit, but make sure you dont get some that are really cheap)

4. how many watts are the speakers rated at?

The fronts are rated at 10-125 rms and the back are rated at 100rms
