Help A Noob on a New System

alright people, i need some help please. im very new to the whole sound system thing, so i really dont understand alot of whats talked about in these darn forums. here is my prob though, .... i have a 95 integra 2door hatch, and im looking to install some nice sound. i want it to be loud, but im still more worried about sound quality. if all i can hear is vibration, then its pointless. i have no noise issues to prove to anyone, just sound quality. so anyhow, i went to a stereo shop that ive been in and out of before(never bought anything) and asked the guy for some low rumbling bass. and i wanted a good deals. he quoted me 2 10's -vega vegas- and some digital kenwood amp. throw in the box for free along with install, for $800. however, i was quite skeptical and thought id hollar at everyone here and get suggestions first. right now, what i really need to get, is an amp for the speakers in the car -their boston acoustics 6 1/2's- a crossover, and then of course a sub or two and an amp for them. puhhhleese, im begging for yous guys helps on this. let me know what a good plan of attack would be. i can install and build the custom box myself, not a problem, but i want the best deal for the dollar. right now i dont wanna spend more the 600 bucks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/banghead.gif.8606515f668c74f6de0281deb475b6fd.gif anything ya'll can help with will be much appreciated!

i have, im just not sure what i should get. i was thinking of Infinity Kappa Perfect 12 VQ and a jbl 500.1 or sumthin like that. however, the speaker guy said infinity is crap, and the aluminum would seperate from the rubber. sooo, im really just curious as too quality, power, and longevity. thank ya

so you are looking for a SQ system with a little bass. 10's or 12's.

do you want to spend over $600. or is that a typo

yea, im lookin at around 600 right now. i dont know if thats gonna buy me much. i prefer 2 12's or maybe a 15, but if 10's will do the job, then its all good.

i have a memphis m3 15'' subwoofer......... will run on next to nothing, or will handle descent amounts of power (800 - 1000rms). 190 shipped. i have pics........

i've been trying to sell it for a while now. it's brand new, hasn't been mounted in an enclosure. good woofer. i'm sure it will sound excellent in a sealed box. although i dont use sealed box's so i couldn't say.

Check some kicker comp vr's there pretty good for the price and dont need much to run them.

I got 2 IDQ12 subs and a jbl600.1 amp off sounddomain.com all for $500. It sounds real nice and is pretty dang loud for me.
