hey, thank you everyone for all yalls help! im seriously considering RE's right now. the RE12's were quoted to me $76, with shipping. and the SE12's, for $185 with shipping. i know there is a helluva difference there, so right now im just deciding whether i want to have bragging rights also, or just pure sound. my question now is, IF i get the SE12's, what amp should i get? will one do the trick? or should i look into gettin 2? and which brand/model? i appreciate everyones help. thank you all again!!

Hi in my opinion right now if I was in your shoes, I would consider looking into a pair of 10's instead. You seem like you want more sq. You are in a small hatchback so the 12's are really going to be loud. Might over power your highs but might not. The 10's will be loud but will have a tighter sound to them and will (my own personal opinion) seem more towards some sq nice tight punchy bass. Do some checking though I could be wrong but I have preffered 10's in some of the projects I have done when leaning towards hatch backs and more sq. Plus its gona be cheaper all around. Less power, less drain on bat etc. I have not heard the re's yet. So the 12's might be the way to go. Ask around on here about that. How the 12's and 10 re's compare up.
