This enclosure is built to the specifications and cutout diameter for an Audiomobile Elite 2212 subwoofer. There have been a couple of these up for sale. Check DIYMA classifieds.

The design and construction was done by NET Audio, which is a company that specializes in subwoofer enclosures. I asked for an extremely rigid enclosure.

  • "cabinet grade" high quality MDF
  • 1.3 cubes
  • tuned to 33 Hz
  • 11.0" cutout diameter
  • back is angled for a hatch or trunk rear seat
  • Double thick 1.5" baffle
  • ~8.5" clearance between the top of the baffle and the back wall
  • Front facing edges are rounded over as well as the port opening.
  • You can tuck the carpet around the port for a cleaner look.
  • There is some corner damage on the bottom. Some of this is from shipping, but regardless, it will be invisible with carpet.
  • This is heavy for the size at 56 pounds 11 ounces.
  • 34" W x 15" H x 12" bottom depth x 9" top depth
How Does It Sound!?

This was a wonderfully clear sounding enclosure with the Elite 2212 subwoofer. There is absolutely no energy audibly lost to wasted resonances. All you'll have to worry about is getting your trunk to stop rattling.

Price

$200 plus shipping

Due to the size and the weight we will only ship this to the lower 48 states. I will need your ZIP code to make a quote. Expect $35+
