headunit help

its a jvc ks..580.....i start the car and the radio says goodbye "see ya" and thats it if i push the power button but nothing happens, if i press display the clock comes on for about 10 seconds and then it shuts off. it can eject and load cd's...the the unit will come on temporarily whiles this happens but then it shuts down again..... could it be one of the wires crossed? all my fuses are good so that cant be it?

ok i got almost everything working but im left with a yellow and orange/white wire coming out of the harness and a orange and white wire out of the head unit...

the yellow wire is my memory...so right now it cant remember the settings but i dont know what to connect that cable to... somebody know where to connect it?

yellow = 12v constant
