****..i know this is a rookie *** question but i gotta say ask anyways.. i was installin a jvc head unit yesterday to my civic hb....the head unit was working fine when i took it out of the person's car i bought it from i installed it in mine and now the thing wont turn on... i checked all the wires and they match up correctly and im using the harness for that car so it should be simple. last night it turned on but with no sound it now today it just doesnt turn on at all...what could it be?

well its not the radio i found out that im only gettin 2volts to the radio when i should be getting 12 volts.. i checked the fuse box and there was a bad fuse..i replaced it but im still getting the same reading....any ideas?

i'm pretty sure you switched the memory wire and the actual power wire. The memory wire always sends a small amount of power to the hu so it doesn't lose its settings, but the power is what you need to actually turn it on. Try switching the yellow and red wires.
