head unit help

i got a pioneer 880 prs and got it install yesterday and when i am listining to the cd player the antena goes up and when i changed cd it goes down then goes back up.

is that normal or does the antena stay down and goes up only when you play the radio sation.

if may some problem with you wire connection...

Usually headunit got 2 type

1st -- antena up when Acc on.

2 nd -- antena up when change to radio mode.

I have the same thing going on. My install guy told me that it was normal. Not sure I believe that, but I'd like to know too.
